It does not have a welded loop on the backing side of the line. I looked at the description and it does not show having a welded loop there. I tied the fly line to the backing and it works well. I was just surprised it did not have a loop. I do like the fly line and its action.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great line......but?

I like this line for a lot of reasons, it floats high and is very slick so I can shoot a lot of line with little effort. The only thing I don’t like and I can’t quite explain it is that when I strip out a lot of line and it’s sitting there coiled up it seems like it tangles more than the Cortland line I had before. It’s not a severe problem and it might be that because it casts so well I just have more line stripped off to get tangled. If you’re looking for a long casting line though this one’s a rocket!!
