Not hyperbole) and knew it would be slow going, but it only took me 15 minutes on each side of the corner door (while still hanging in the cabinet) to get it done. I took my time and let the tool do the work because that was the only wood cutting blade I had and it did a wonderful, fantastic job! I then used the handy dandy sanding attachment to sand down the edges and used my incredible stain marker to stain the edges and no one would ever know I cut the door....see my pic. I now have a lazy susan cabinet that works better than ever. This saw is so versatile and is fun to use. You have to order a size closest to your garage door, but wider so you can cut it to fit exactly to what you need. I had to trim off 3.5" on mine and used a combination of my oscillating saw and a hack saw. I used the segmented blade that came with the saw and got down as far as I could with it and finished off with the hack saw. This saw was pretty darn incredible because the threshold is pretty thick in spots and the blade cut it. Slow going, but it worked and gave me a nice clean cut with very little filing needed. It does remove grout, but be sure you use the mason/ceramic cutting blades. I finally decided to bite the bullet and put one of these in my home workshop. I couldn't justify paying a lot maybe for a top brand but after reading a lot of reviews on here, I decided to go with the Genesis GMT 15A Multi-Purpose Oscillating Tool and after a couple of uses, I am happy with this tool. It probably paid for itself with my first project of replacing an old rotted out window sill. Worked like a charm. As a first time user, there was a bit of a learning curve but once I got the hang of it, I couldn't be more pleased with the results. It did tend to heat up a bit but part of that was on me. Once I stopped forcing it and just let the blade do the cutting things went more smoothly. I will say that when I was using a wood blade, I ran into a nail that I was unaware of. Yeah don't do that cause it will destroy that blade in a second. So be careful with that. There is a metal blade that comes with it and it performed well for small stuff like nails. Used correctly the blades will perform better than some of the reviews here. There also is a universal attachment that is provided with this that will accommodate other brands of blades. I have used this a few times now and I really have no complaints at all. For the professionals out there I realize that I don't have anything to compare this to and I am sure there are better brands with better blades but for me and for the DIY once a month guy, this might not be a bad way to go.
