## Description

The iLIVING Shutter Exhaust Fan is perfect for removing excess heat, moisture, and unpleasant odors from virtually any commercial location, including restaurants, factories, warehouses, barns, and greenhouses. This fan features aluminum blades, OSHA compliant wire guards, and automatic shutters that open and close in tandem with the operation of the fan. The completely enclosed motor is thermally protected and permanently lubricated. Equipped with the newest Thermospeed Controller which can easily control the temperature and speed. Auto cycle ON/OFF at your desired temperature. The fan comes fully assembled out of the box; only installation required is the electrical hardwiring.

Review: Great product at a decent price - Fan was exactly what i needed. Very easy to install. Thermostat works well. Unit lowers the temp. in my garage quite a bit. It is no louder than a window fan , even when on high speed. speed is adjustable if you want it to run slower. All i had to do was cut a hole in the wall, and wire an outlet close to it, so i could plug it in. Did those two things, installed, and turned on. Works great. good quality,built well.
Review: Nice exhaust fan - In the winter, when snow melts off my car, I get lots of condensation in my heated garage, causing mold to form on windows, etc. in the garage. I had this fan installed and now I can easily control the problem. I plugged it into a wifi outlet and I use that to turn it on & off. When there is condensation, I turn the fan on via the wifi & I can set it to run 3-4 hours (or whatever I choose) - this way it doesn't run unnecessarily long if I forget to turn it off. As an added bonus, I had new wood flooring installed - the kind they have to stain & apply urethane. The installer wanted to put a box fan in a window to exhaust air & fumes caused by the chemicals. I suggested we open the door going to the garage & turn on the exhaust fan. It worked great. You can adjust the speed of the fan to get appropriate air flow and this fan can move more air than a typical box fan. We actually didn't have to run it very fast. The installer was impressed.

**Q: How do I install a variable speed control on this fan? I don't understand the wiring diagram provided in the manual.**
A: Your best choice is the speed control from Iliving that matches the fan.  Attach the power cord to the fan.  Plug the fan into the controller, plug the controller into a wall socket.  Set the remote control to desired temp/humidity.  The controller ramps the speed up and down as set point is approached.  Works great in my 11x34 foot attic.

**Q: Can the thermostat be mounted on the louver/exhaust side? I want to move heated air from garage woodstove into my greenhouse.**
A: Should be fine. The thermostat plugs into an outlet and the fan plugs into the thermostat. So you may need to run the electrical cord through the wall separating the garage and greenhouse.

**Q: in which direction is the air flow**
A: From inside air pass through those shatters to outside.

**Q: How long is the power cord?**
A: The power cord is 6 ft long.

Fan was exactly what i needed. Very easy to install. Thermostat works well. Unit lowers the temp. in my garage quite a bit.
