We've been dealing with it- because we paid a lot for it - and then I went on a business trip and slept on a bed with a featherbed top - and it was really nice. I thought hmmm maybe I could make our existing firm bed... better. I did a lot of research, I didn't want to spend thousands- or I would've just purchased a new mattress - I thought this was reasonably priced and so I hoped it would be as comfortable. When it arrived- I have to say - I was excited because it was HEAVY. I needed help bringing it down to the bedroom - it was almost 50 lbs. I took it out, laid it over the bed after fluffing - and laid on it. And I was excited because - it was much more comfortable than before - and it almost hugged me as I laid there. So I put the fitted sheet on top of it - and waited til my husband came to bed (see if he could feel the difference). He immediately said - what's going on here? Why is this so nice? Did you buy a new mattress? He turned on the lights and asked me - did you buy a new mattress? I said no... silly... what do you think? And then told him what it was. He said - let's see how I feel in the morning. The next morning - we agreed the mattress situation was totally different thanks to this product. This featherbed- totally makes the bed/mattress an experience. Soft but supportive- not hot (I would have rejected it immediately) and just wonderfully comfortable. We love it.
