Easier for him to hold and he loves it too. The fit is perfect and buttons are all in the right place and the hole for the camera too. Has protected the tablet many times when dropped, considering buying another one for another tablet. A must have for kids. I must say that Amazon were great as I had ordered the wrong model but were very helpful in arranging a return and refund. You need to check you have the right cover for your tablet as the first cover I ordered was the right tablet but a different model and the fit was too big and buttons in wrong place.Would highly recommend, seems expensive but well worth it.
