It is quite heavy and sturdy. We dont have any complaints so far. Was very easy to put together as well. **Q: What age is recommend?** A: I bought this for a young toddler as the frame sits on the floor, so I don't have to worry about falls and she can easily get in and out independently. It is a full size single and my nearly 15 year old has used it but struggles with the lower bar as she is around 5ft 7. My toddler loves it and has done from around 17 months, she is now nearly 2 and I'm sure it will last her for many years. **Q: Can you remove a side beam without effecting the sturdiness of the frame? Worried about my daughter hitting her head esp if she wakes half asleep** A: Yes that's what we have done as my little girl kept walking into it. I was dubious before ordering, as much cheaper than others I was looking at and no reviews. Arrived today, a day earlier than the earliest despatch stated when I ordered, easy to assemble (my husband and I did 2 in just over an hour) and they look fantastic. They are flat pack furniture and you can tell, but with at least a £30 saving per bed compared to other sellers, I am more than happy with the quality. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exactly as advertised *by M***S on 13 June 2023* Nice sturdy bed. The side bars are low, which is kind of obvious on purchasing. However thinking about removing one side as it’s difficult to put child in bed when they’re flat out. Everyone has managed to hit their head on the side bar within hours of putting it up and, yup, can confirm, it does hurt! (It’s a sharp edge so I’d avoid doing that!). Fairly simple to build and seems to be good quality parts. No complaints. Great value.
