The “LightPainter – Ryu’s Lightworks” Edition is the first flashlight of its kind. Designed explicitly for lightpainters, by lightpainters, it combines great power (up to 1200 lumens from its Cree XPL-HI emitter) with great flexibility (8 brightness levels, 3 strobe modes, momentary modes, waterproofing…) to create a tool which should be part of every light painter’s toolkit. As light painters ourselves we understand what makes a great light painting flashlight, so we have worked directly with Ryu’s Lightworks (Dennis Berka) to create a custom firmware for the flashlight allowing us to provide an unparalleled feature set for LightPainting including: 8 brightness levels from 50lm through to 1200lm. 3 separate strobe modes with configurable frequencies. The ability to use the strobe modes at whatever intensity is required rather than solely at full power (to allow you to balance the strobe against the rest of the light painting). The ability to memorise the current mode settings (including intensity and strobe frequency) and subsequently access it from either the side or tailcap buttons. Raised (but not illuminated) side button to allow ease of location in the dark. A “single flash” mode to allow a tool to be “frozen” in mid-air with a 5ms flash. Measures: 23,5 x 134 mm. Weight: 69 g (Without battery), 114 g (With battery). Waterproof up to 2 metres.
