Review: Best curry powder with no added sugar - This Malaysian curry powder is my personal favorite. A little bit of this spice goes a long way and it is perfect with coconut cream or heavy cream and goes on pretty much any meat and vegetables. It is even great for a low carb diet because it doesn't have added sugar. I had to look really hard to find a curry spice that meet this criteria.... I am so grateful for Kelly Peterson's book, The Asian Low Carb Secret. This is where I learned about this curry powder and it is life changing. It is an amazing book containing a lot of Asian-Western fusion cuisine that uses this powder. Keep in mind that it still contains carb (mostly fiber), so you do have to watch how much you are consuming especially if you are strictly going <20g a day, or if you are counting total carbs. The low ratings were mostly due to the cost - but it is really unfair b/c this is a huge package and can make 30 to 40 servings of curry (with very, very generous portions). Sure this would have only costs $3 back in Malaysia but considering the cost of living differences and the desertcart convenience the price they are charging on desertcart is well worth it. There is a cheaper 3 package option on desertcart, but since I don't use it up that quickly and I don't like to use "old" spices, I still prefer to buy it one package at a time.

**Q: What are the ingredients?**
A: Ingredients: Coriander, Chili, Fennel, Turmeric, White Pepper, Cinnamon, Black Pepper, Cardamom, Star Anise, Nutmeg, Bay Leaf, Clove.

**Q: For the pack of 3, what is the weight of each packet? These seem to come in different sizes so I wanted to make sure.**
A: Same size for all three.. 8 .82 oz per bag (250 gm)

**Q: How many servings does one packet make?  What other ingredients need to be added besides meat and packet?**
A: I'm traveling so I'm not home to read the packet. I use it as curry powder to flavor Indian lentil soup. Sorry I can't be more helpful!

**Q: Where do i find the name/company of this seller? it is not listed anywhere. and how to know where is it shipping from-malaysia or us?**
A: To be honest with you, it’s somewhere here in the US but I don’t remember. I ordered thru Amazon. This is a Malaysian product but it didn’t ship from Malaysia. Hope this helps.

iDK why I like this brand but, it’s the easiest way to make curry when one doesn’t want to measure all the spices. 3 tablespoons, sautéed well with blended onions, garlic and ginger. Add a can of coconut milk, chicken (cuts of your choosing), potatoes. Cooked till all nice and tender- you have dinner !
