I really do not like to think of its victim dying slowly.** A: I guess nothing is guaranteed, but assuming the creature is attempting to eat the bait, then it is extremely likely. All eight mice I had went the same way instantly. Far better than poison which cannot be instant, especially the type the general public can purchase. Sadly there is not much choice mine were in the loft no doubt would have multiplied. **Q: Mouse ate bait but didn’t trigger the trap?
