Press each seal nub and the edges. Set the empty tray on a kitchen scale. Press tare. If you have sealed the top to the bottom correctly, each ball is exactly 50 ml. Using the supplied funnel fill the ball to 50 ml and tare after each ball. Voila! This may seem like a PITA but it isn't and for me it's worth it. The cubes specifically as the spheres are a bit small. The picture in the product ad makes it look bigger, but maybe my fault for not reading specifications. Either way, that is the only reason this got a 4 due to the size of the spheres. Cubes are fantastic, freezes quickly, and the lid on the spheres works great.
