The middle sized is big enough for all clothes, and the smaller one for toiletries, gifts, etc. I should have only bought the two suitcases, but the price for 3 is still good enough to go ahead and get the set. I have used the two smaller suitcases for a road trip and stayed at a hotel. These two cases were real lifesavers at a hotel. Easy to pack the car, with just two cases and my purse, and then easy to manuver into the hotel. I didn't need any big rolling cart. The wheels were very good, even on carpet down long hallways. Which is correct?** A: Yes, just got the set and the carry on has the charge port. It is currently clearly stated in the listing. There is a pouch in the 20" carry on that you put your power supply into to use the port. It has the USB connector inside.
