The sound is fantastic as good as my very expensive technics music system which is complicated to tune and I might add troublesome. This Alexa is easy to set up. Easy to operate and so easy to connect to any radio station. It comes into its own when I connect Spotify no messy connection unlike the music system. Not sure how old the unit is as it was purchased as refurbished. So the only downside I don’t actually know how old it is thus I’m unsure of the longevity of the unit. However I have 4 other standard Alex’s which I’ve had for many years without any issues so I suppose I’ve not much to worry about so I should just get on and listen to the excellent music it generates. The sound is really good and fills the room - you can adjust the Bass, Mid range and Treble in the Alexa App. The voice recognition software is also a lot better than the old echoes which sometimes wouldn't respond if you had the music on loud., this Studio has only done that a couple of times so far and I've had it about 3 months. I am classed as profoundly deaf, and wear hearing aids. I bought the Echo Studio because of the larger Speakers and because you can set it up to suit your hearing needs. So far so good really pleased with it - especially for the price (their over £200 for a new one) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stay or Go? *by M***K on 20 July 2023* I already have two Sonos Era 100 speakers and bought these to compare. They were easier and quicker to setup. And price was better as I bought the refurb ones, and like other buyers, found they were immaculate and just like new. Because of the price, these offered better value than my Sonos which were about the same price as these new. But overall, I had a few issues with these that made them not quite as good as the Sonos. First was the wireless connection. The Sonos work anywhere in the house. But these, get them too far away, and they became a bit intermittent picking up the wireless signal. I also found that to play both Echo Studio speakers together I had to tell Alexa they were in the same room (even if they weren't). This was not a problem with the Sonos. The Echo Studio also seem to lose the sound settings between each play. I have to constantly re-adjust the bass and treble before every use. Again, not a problem on the Sonos which stores the settings just fine. Sound quality left us divided. The Sonos always sound good on any setting. The Echo Studio need some tweaking to get them to sound as good as the Sonos. And they do in the end. But it is frustrating they lose the setting each time. I decided to keep these because of the price and the Alexa features.
