Things look nice and it keeps cables together. I would get some of the plastic covers. I ended up getting the plastic covers and thre away the braided cable **Q: Does the sleeve have a slit along the side or do you have to push the cable through from one end to the other?** A: This sleeve doesn't have a slit along a side. We have to push the cable thru one end to the other. This sleeve is expandable, it expand up to 1.5 time s. So, it is easy to push cable. The 3/4" ended up being slightly small for me. What I was able to fit: 3 HDMI cables 1 analog audio cable 1 usb cable 1 power cord Didn't fit: VGA cable (the end was too big to get the sleeving around, and also sleeving capacity had been reached by the above items). It was a very tight fit and it took some work to push the cables through. I would get a much bigger sleeve next time and it would be much easier and quicker to install.
