Bare in mind it is passive and using it with passive pickups like I am means that there is a slight roll off in the highs, but to be honest it's only very slight and actually really helps with my Telecaster that has an extremely bright bridge pickup, just takes a hair off the icepick highs. It imparts a warmer tone than the HI-z does but with plenty of clarity still. An active DI is the preferred way usually with passive pickups, but they are considerably noisier for the use of what I do. Overall very recommended and the box is a nice size.
