Review: It Works for Me - Got this to find dog and cat urine stains and it works. I like the size and brightness of the lights, makes it a lot easier to spot stains than smaller models. Works OK in dimly lit room but the darker the better. I locate the stain using the black light, spray it with cleaner, then drop a sheet of paper on the spot. This way I remember exactly where the stain is at when I turn on the room lights to blot-up the stain. Only knock is needing 6 AAA batteries. A couple of C or D size batteries would be easier. Have used it for only a few days so I can't speak about durability and battery life. It does appear to be well make.

**Q: Does this actually detect cat urine? Both wet and dry?**
A: Oh my gosh YES! Unbelievable! I got this to see where my daughters cat was peeing in her home. It was a nightmare. I could see where my daughter treated the areas and where she didn’t. Where there was old urine and fresh. This is a great light! I did purchase the stronger bulb though. I don’t know if I needed to, I just didn’t want to take any chances.

**Q: Can this light detect ringworm in a cat?**
A: Not all ringworm fungus species fluoresce under uv light and you have to have the correct nanometer light to begin with. It's best to take your cat to the vet as soon as possible for proper diagnosis and treatment since ringworm can spread to people and other pets.

**Q: Will this work for tracking blood for hunting?**
A: Yes, but I suggest you buy a large one

**Q: can this be used to cure uv resin?**
A: This flashlight's wavelength is 395nm and most 3D printer resins cure at 405nm. Probably not going to work.

Pointers-vacuum first, or every little piece of anything will show up and works best in the dark. Amazing at picking up cat pee. I also have the smaller one, but this one is way better! I locate an area and then get closer to get a better idea of how big it is and start cleaning/spraying.
