"The enchantment of fairy-tale wool figures lies in the soft unconstricted forms and the delicate, yet living colours obtained by layering techniques" quote from the Introduction, page 11.Magic Wool: Creative Pictures and Tableaux with Natural Sheep's Wool is a savory visual treat for anyone who likes fairy tales/stories expressed in an art form. The book is as much about appreciating fiber art as it is in suggesting imaginative projects. This brief book does include some how-tos and helpful teaching points; however, some readers (particularly beginners) might wish for much more depth, more details, more specifics than what is presented here. [I've uploaded some images to give potential buyers an idea of the what to expect inside. They should appear on the book's Amazon page.] Wool picture examples are discussed briefly in Magic Wool, and they usually do not offer a detailed instruction set for completion.
