It took me about 40 minutes to get it all changed out.Make sure that you use a razor to get all of the glass and glue out of the edges before putting the screen on the ipod. This was a pain in his because it was shattered so badly in the top left corner (which consequently also severed the camera chip so that no longer works, but he's more concerned with the music and the games). If you don't make sure to get everything out of the corners and the slight rimmed edge, it will not sit straight and will not seal. Learned that one the hard way and had to redo it.Be very careful disconnecting the old screen also, as they will explain in any how-to videos. I simply pulled up a youtube video on how to replace it and it was easy to follow. You'll have to have a steady hand and good eyes to get everything done the way that it's needed to be. As previously mentioned in other reviews, you should probably label which screws go where. There are SEVERAL screws and they are all different sizes. I could see how that would be a pain if you didn't place them out on a diagram or something to know where to put them.This doesn't come with instructions on how to remove or install your new screen, so you definitely want to youtube some instructions if you don't now your way around electronics. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ iPod touch 4th Gen Screen - Great buy! *by C***S on Reviewed in the United States on February 14, 2015* This screen is an excellent purchase. I would definitely recommend getting it, as long as you know what you are doing. There are no instructions included, but there are great videos on youtube. If this was all I was saying in my review, this would be a solid 5 stars. BUT, I gave this three stars. The tools included with this screen are absolute crap. I would recommend buying a toolkit with better quality screwdrivers and metal spudgers (pry tools). The included screwdrivers wear down really easily, which makes you unable to use them after a while. The plastic pry tools also wear down really easily, and they bend after a while. The only good tool is the suction cup. The tools drop this down to 4 stars. Using the iCracked Youtube video, it was nerve wracking, but everything went well. I'm getting to the age where my eyesight isn't so hot. There are lot's of small screws involved. I put down a piece of tape sticky side up, and taped down the ends. I then stuck each screw down as I removed them in a counter clockwise pattern. Then, I could put them back in the right spot. There are 8 screws and they are 5 sizes. KEEP TRACK OF THEM.Anyway, my daughter is back in iPod heaven with a custom iPod that looks like noone else's.The Home key is a little sticky, you have to press a little harder than usual to get it to go.
