It is a drugstore alternative and does the job. I've used setting makeup spray for 8 years and this step is key to help your makeup to stay all day. In extreme conditions (heat) it will last less than in cold weather, because makeup doesn't melt!. I've read many reviews stating that it doesn't control oil, and it could be true, however that is not the purpose of a setting spray unless it has an added ingredient that claims specifically to oil control. For example, Urban decay has 3 setting makeup sprays: all nighter, to extend your makeup wear, oil slick to extend makeup with oil control, and chill to moisturize and setting. So I'd recommend Urban decay or skindinavia with oil control if you are extremely oily. In my opinion this product does the job. My only complaint would be the scent, I don't like it, that's why I added just 4 stars.
