However, the description says these are FR-4 but that is incorrect; FR-4 is fiberglass reinforced resin and these boards do not have any fibers. This is fine for most hobby use and you probably won't notice the difference, or maybe appreciate that they are slightly easier to cut than a true FR-4 material would be. I've used this brand of board plenty of times and with good technique they etch great. Be aware that the batch I received had needle-like burrs of copper on the edges due to the way they were cut. One of the first things you should probably do is hit the edges of each board with some sandpaper.
