It is a mei-tai type style and is so simple to use. I have bought soo many different types of carriers - soft structured types, wraps, ring slings, stretchy wraps - you name it and we've tried it. I personally have only found the mei-tai style to work for us. This carrier can be used from 8-35 pounds so you will get a ton of use out of it. It also comes with instructions for anyone who may be a beginner at baby-wearing. It is very sturdy when I put my ten month old in it. I love that I can carry him on my back with it so he can explore, or in the front to snuggle on days when he may be sick, tired, or just plain cranky. One of my absolute favorite parts about this carrier is that it has a pocket in the front for me to put whatever I may need in there - tissues, keys, my phone, etc. I have never found a Mei-tai that has that until this one! I was so fortunate to receive this product at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion. I love being able to carry my son around in this but still have my hands free to do whatever I may need to do. It makes it so much easier to clean or shop. The print on this particular carrier is brown with daisy flowers on it and it is absolutely gorgeous!!! I have used it every day since I received it, and will continue to do so.
