Balance might have been better in a very large hand, but not in mine. The biggest problem, and the reason I returned it, was the shaft was set into the handle improperly, so that it exited the handle at a slight angle. Rolling it on a table, it "wobbled" dramatically and in my hand, it only felt right when rotated to one specific position.Be aware also that although the photo shows 5 batons, only one is included at the price specified. This was not suprising to me, so it's not a complaint.
