The multiple layers of fabricThere's a couple of issues though.Firstly with the valve - it is total waste-of-space. The air pressure to make valve open is far in excess of what is required for you exhaled breath to pass through the fabric.Secondly, the fabric after first wash smelled quite unpleant as if milk had soaked into it and it was just going off. Washing several times and it's still there. Possibly rinsing in fabric conditioner would help but I don't personally don't like their floral sents.
