## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent knife for the price!!
*by V***L on March 25, 2017*

So, I purchased this knife as kind of an everyday carry. I plan to take it hiking, fishing, hunting, beach.. you get the point. Having said that it is not meant to be used to chop wood or cut up an animal. I plan to keep it in an easy to reach place as a back up knife, and in case of emergencies. The knife fit well in my hands, but I do not have the biggest hands, it feels solid, the handle is hard plastic, not rubberized as I like, but the plastic will pbly last longer, and it is not slippery even when wet. The blade comes very sharp out of the box, and it is a full tang so should stand up well. The case is nice as well, the knife clicks into place well, I have been looking for a smallish knife for a while and came across many with little plastic sheaths that hold the knife in with friction, and they have very mixed reviews. This has a physical tab on the knife, and clicks positively into the sheath. There is a tab on both sides of the knife so you can put it in the sheath either way. It does not come with straps, but has a vertical slot to pass your belt through as well as the spaces on the side to strap it on your leg.Wearing it on my waste attached to my belt was uncomfortable because the handle stuck high up and kept sticking me in my belly. I found it most comfortable if worn sideways on your belt either in front just right or left of the buckle or at the back. Strapped to your thigh or ankle. Or on the strap of a backpack or hydration pack. One con I found, there is a plastic bar that screws onto the back of the sheath to create the space to pass your belt, the plastic is a bit thin as I saw others say. But I honestly do not see it just breaking off. If it does, it is screwed on so it should not be too hard to invent something.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Crucial Piece of Spearfishing Gear.
*by W***E on July 1, 2019*

I have purchased 3 of these knives for myself and family and they love them. My first dive knife was a McNett and that design works perfectly for me. This knife is the exact same design and I believe the same type of steel the only difference being the sheath has a little butting you can press to take your knife out while the McNett is purely a friction hold. When I look for a dive knife I want it compact because I wear my knife on my forearm, A strong tip that can stand up to finishing off your fish, and a blade that can keep an edge so you can clean your fish. I don’t want those big cool looking knives and while you can get away with using those thin stilleto type dive knives, they are usually very expensive and there’s a fear of snapping the blade while braining your fish. This knife is nice and compact, there is plenty of “ meat” at the tip of the knife so I’m not afraid of it breaking on me, and it has kept a hair shaving edge for the past 10 dives. Granted I take great care of my knife but for a dive knife to hold this type of edge in the first place is incredible.I highly recommend this knife to any fisherman out there who is looking for a quality knife that won’t gut your wallet. Get yourself some Riffe forearm straps, some bungee and you’re set.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ this is a great little knife for this
*by A***R on June 25, 2017*

If your buying this for a safety knife to clip on your PFD or your belt, this is a great little knife for this. The quick release sheath works well and it's sharp enough to do the job of quickly cutting away rope. But if your going to use this knife as some kind of heavy use knife for spear fishing or small utility knife, it will not stand up. This stainless steal isn't going to hold up to much regular use and the blade is kind of old shaped to quickly dispatch a fish you just speared. Also You will have to give this a fresh water bath and a little oil if you are working around salt water. It will get light surface rust after just your first use in salt water but it will clean off easy if you take care of it after every trip to salt water. Also the way the handle is attached to the tang of the knife allows water to get into the handle and settle on to the tang of the knife so you have to make sure to air dry it so that the water can leak back out or you will end up rusting out the tang.I like the knife and I'm keeping it on my PFD for kayaking, but I'll be getting something els for my spearfishing trips.P.S. make sure to read what color your getting and don't depend on the photo. I ended up with a pretty pink one and I though I was getting red lol thank god for spray paint.
