They flash without having to press the flash button, which is nice. I've been using it's bluetooth with an external antenna as a beacon and I'm getting about twice the range I was with another ESP32 board with an onboard antenna. One note though: it doesn't appear to have an internal (onboard) antenna, so I think you'll need an external antenna to get a decent signal with wifi or bluetooth. I've used other boards in the past that had the option of using onboard or external, this one appears to be only external. Review: These are amazing! - For a tiny bit more money, you get these chips instead of an arduino. It's amazing how responsive and we'll these work. They flash without having to press the flash button, which is nice. I've been using it's bluetooth with an external antenna as a beacon and I'm getting about twice the range I was with another ESP32 board with an onboard antenna.
