Even though I am always getting trims and have cut most of the damage off, it still allows my hair to feel like it's natural. virgin state before I processed it from root to tip. I leave it on for 10 minutes most of the time compared to the 2-5 it recommends, and it leaves my hair feeling silky smooth after I let it air dry.I bought another bottle of this to just add SFX or Chromasilk violet dye to it so I could make my own conditioning toner for my platinum hair because I like it so well. Even though I have purple shampoo and conditioner, as well as plenty of actual toners from various brands, I still like using my own mixture -- allows me more control. I add just a tiny bit of the dye to this conditioner to make a pale lilac color, apply it like I would any toner or bleach mixture, and let it sit for 5-10 minutes before I rinse. Hair comes out toned without any damage while being soft to the touch.For the price and it being Prime eligible, I don't think you could go wrong. Yes, it does have -cones and sulfate, but unfortunately many products do, which is why a clarifying shampoo should be used at least once a week. That or a chelating shampoo if you have hard water.
