This seems to be a very basic smartwatch, what I like about it is its projected battery life, suppose to be 30 days, I cant atest to that, I've only had it for two. I like that the watch face is always on, i like that it has buttons for the functions instead of touch screen...It has pretty basic functions, phone , messaging, email notifications....It has a fitness tracker, to count steps, calories burned, and sleep timer.You can customize the watch faces to a limited degree, and the phone app has a store where you can get limited apps, free. It has a weather app, but not a good selection of locations, for instance, I live in New Jersey, the closest weather avaliable is New York...My biggest problrm with this watch, is night viewing, the watch you can see, although not very bright, but the notifications, I can't read at all....I have had several "smart watches", pebble, sony, moto 360, Martain Notifier, Olio Model one, which Ive had for a month, and still cant get it to function, and the best of all, Apple....Apple just works and works without hickups, only problem is battery life. So in review, if you are looking for a basic smart watch, the vector may be for you....I will explore mine a few more days to see if there"s anything Ive overlooked....I change my rating from 3 to 5 stars, if for one reason only, BATTERY LIFE, I recently got 6 weeks to the day out of a single charge. But not only is battery life great, this thing connects with no issues, never have to worry or check to see if it is connected to my phone...it just works, no issues...I really like that the watch is always on....it may not do all that a Apple watch will do....but I really just want to get the time, and notifications, and it does that flawlesly.......Thanks Vector......oh...and I have all the others...Apple...Olio....Asus....Moto 360.....Martian....Pebble...Huawei.... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Great watch currently filling a void in the smartwatch market. *by S***Z on Reviewed in the United States on January 3, 2017* I've had the Vector Luna for about a week now. Let me first say that this is my first smartwatch. I had preordered the Pebble Time 2 through their Kickstarter earlier this year and was very much looking forward to the watch. After Pebble sold to Fitbit and my funds were refunded, I was actively searching for a smartwatch. I wanted something that was more for notifications so I wasn't checking my phone all the time, simple at a glance calendar feature and of course a great watch. Vector seemed to fit all of my needs. I ordered right after Christmas so I was able to snag it for $100 less than what's its selling for now. The package arrived within 24hrs (with Prime) and went flawlessly. The packaging is a giveaway that this watch screams high end. The unboxing was a nice experience. My watch came with only 2% battery so I plugged it in using its magnetic charger and within an hour and a half I was at 100%. After a week's use, using it heavily for the first two days setting it up and exploring the watch, I'm happy to say I'm down to 86% battery. So I only used 14% in the first week. At this rate I'll get a month and a half battery out of this thing! Here's my breakdown one week in:Pros:Watch-centric mindset. Meaning it's a watch first with smart features.Great customer support. I had some trouble recieving my work email on my watch. I sent a message through the Vector watch app and within a few hours I had an email exchange with Vector support and they were able to walk me through the steps to fix the issue.Notifications come through quickly as soon as they hit my phone.My Bluetooth connection has never lost signal, unless I've gone past the specified range. The connection has been flawless.The build quality is super. My brother has a high end watch and the quality in on par.The band is comfortable, though I did have to "wear it in" because it was a bit rough on one part of the band near the buckle.Lots of watch faces to chose from and their developer portal is easy that anyone can mess with. I've made two custom watch faces for myself when I didn't see the one I wanted in the Vector App Store.Cons:After receiving a text notification I find myself wanting to respond via voice or pre-saved messages. The watch currently does not have that feature. There is no microphone.I'm not sure how accurate the step and calorie counter are. I need to take it to the gym and test it while on a treadmill, but just eyeballing it, the numbers for me seem high. I probably wouldn't wear this watch to go running, feels too nice, but I would like to test its accuracy.I don't care for the calendar setup currently. On some watchfaces you can only see the most immediate event. I wish I could see my whole week's calendar events through an app or something, r have the ability to go back to pas event from the current week or month.The screen is OK, it gets the job done, it's always on and it's completly visible in the sunlight. I just wish the resolution was just a tad higher quality as you can easily see some aspects of watchfaces that do not have clean lines, they're jagged.Bottom line:If you're looking for a watch first that has smart functions, with great battery life, then this is your watch. If your looking more of a fitness tracker than anything else, I suggest looking elsewhere. The Vector Luna is currently filling a void in the smartwatch world where others fail.
