Instead of hard mounting the hydraulic pump, this fitting allows you to bold the pump right to the engine. Holes all lined up fine. Of course I had to drill new holes and even a steel plate to mount the new engine. Then I added steel plate covers to protect the hydraulic pump and bracket. The engine orientation directs the exhaust 90 degrees away from the work area, but it did put the pull cord over the tongue of the log splitter frame; but that works fine when the splitter is in the vertical position. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for a log splitter rebuild with the 212cc predator engine! *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on January 12, 2020* Fits the 212cc 6.5hp harbor freight predator engine perfectly, mount bolts for the engine are 5/16” 24UNF and I believe I used 3/4” length, mount bolts for the pump side are m8x1.25 not sure what length I used. I put this on a 1993 MTD yardmachine 25 ton log splitter I got for next to nothing. Perfect amount of room to accommodate the shaft on the predator engine.
