The price was steep, and I'd have probably been better off searching for hand-me-downs, but I wanted something clean. So far, it does not leak and keeps humidity in well when coupled with a glass lid. BTW, it doesn't come with a lid - I bought my glass lid seperately. Looks clean without any marks and is very sturdy.
