I was a little disappointed that I had to use my dremel to hollow out two small spots on the back so the bracket was completely flush against the wall, but other than that, it's really awesome!My house was built in the 1940's, so this really fits all the original hard wood.It looks great and gives my nest a warm and classic, retro meets contemporary look that it could never have on it's own.I read these reviews that say it's overpriced. No one is forcing you to buy it. Golden oak is a mix of champagne gold and dull brown.
