**Q: How are these different than the regular leg irons?**
A: I guess that would be determined by how you define “regular” leg irons.  These are high quality and extremely sturdy, like real handcuffs, but with extra length in the chain to give more slack for movement.  The clasps are also shaped more oblong to fit properly around the ankles.

**Q: Did the key also work with Smith and Wesson handcuffs?**
A: Yes, this used the standard Smith and Wesson handcuff key

**Q: Do these leg irons fit round cowboy boots?**
A: It will be dependent on the size of the boots. They aren't typically worn over footwear. They might, but these will not be good Halloween props. Ya might want some with a quick release.

Well put together leg irons. They are strong and can fit a pretty decent size person. Everyone's policy is different but to fully contain a subject leg irons do the trick.
