Will this work or must it be an A/V signal?** A: I used this for a/v signals. but some times you can reverse the in and out for audio, if you do you could have one coming in the out and 4 out. If the 2 audio's are from two separate unit's I don't think it will work. **Q: Does the product come with Audio Video cable or do I need to purchase them separately?** A: It does not come with the cables. You will need one to connect the switch to your tv and others to connect different devices to the switch. **Q: Can you use this in reverse like as one input and four outputs.** A: Ignore the other answers for this. Yes, this does work in reverse. I'm using it in reverse for my use-case. Also, you can also have it send the signal to more than one output at a time, by pressing more than one button at the same time, but doing that is a little bit fiddly. **Q: Do the input ports and output port share a common ground? Is the the ground switched or always on, with only signal switched?** A: Ground or common is never switched off and on.
