Despite some attempts to fix the existing door, nothing was working well. Once I received a complaint from the Post Office regarding the door, I did some more research and found this product. If I had known it existed earlier, I would have ordered it a long time ago. It is not cheap, but it fit perfectly on my existing mailbox, and is working flawlessly. There is an installation video that shows how easy the product is to install, and it really is that easy. As expected, the hardest part was removing the old door, which wasn't that bad (I just drilled out the pivot pin).
