Couldn't even get the laces through the top pair of eyelets, needed to pull w/ all my strength. Then they were so closed in you needed to loosen them to get them on, at which point the laces would pull out of the eyelets effortlessly. I saw another review stating they had to modify the eyelets and I wasn't willing to drill the hole out bigger or cut the eyelet return w/ a razor knife on brand new boots. Sent letter to wolverine and they offered to exchange them for a different pair. Said Amazon took them back but said they were missing the point. They were importing thousands of boots that were basically unwearable. Asked them to check a pair on their own, that their quality control seemed non-existent. They answered yet again that my pair had a manufacturing defect. Gave up. Not sure what happened with these boots, but they were extremely smaller in both the width and length.Had to return them and order 1/2 size up.
