Lets just simply say that these are the best heads on the market. The first look just astounds you. Its definitely a durable head. Ive used this for the past year or so and i just sounds better with age. I even bought a new one and just realized that there was truly no need for it! But the key elements here are that these are made wonderfully, and just sound better. I first used REMO, but always seemed to find that they just didnt last long, and i just had to constantly replace them not because i am a heavy hitter, just that they arent made like EVANS. It is easy to tune, and can basically be used in any setting or type of play. So simply dont question any other ones...
