Because my 5-year-old son was sooooo excited to color in the book with me, I let him use the main book and I tore out a page to color myself while he was coloring. There aren't any perforated edges -- I don't think the pages are meant to be torn out -- so the edge looks a little sloppy. If you're planning to pull them out to frame or give away or whatever, just know you may want to use scissors or an exacto knife (sp). The designs in the book are beautiful. The one pictured is the one that took the least amount of time to color. I tackled that first before moving on to more complex designs. I think this book is a good value, and it will provide hours and hours of coloring, which is super relaxing!
