Easy to layout and for the most part to secure down. Used a weighted barrel roller from local hardware store rental, and a small compact car........since roller I got leaked. The little leakage seemed to help somewhat but then lost the weight needed to press grid into yard. Since all that was time consuming I simply used a small hatch back that fit in area to finish leveling it into space. Great value, solid product for the cost. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great solution so far, but won't work for everyone *by B***O on January 18, 2021* Update 2: Added a second pack this spring, which goes to about 5' from the back of the foundation to the right of the new second photo. This is how it looks in early fall, about 7 months in. Tough to tell they're there, especially since it was an extremely wet summer and the grass remained green (unusual). The marks are from my kids dragging over a plastic play house for a few weeks. We'll see how things hold up as the ground starts freezing and thawing in a month.Update: Added photo...Decided to rearrange the tiles before things dried/froze to be the full width. This is one pack 10 feet wide (not exactly a lot of coverage for $180), but they are performing pretty well so far...Come spring the grass should certainly improve the aesthetics.I have around 1200sf I'd love to be able to drive on without making huge ruts. Tried to get better pricing from the manufacturer's resellers, but it was within $25 of the amazon price! So I bought one pack as a test, which is what I'm reviewing.My soil is sandy and rocky, but turns to mush for a month or two a year when the ground deeper down is frozen and the top gets rain or the snow cover melts. I tried installing in the fall after heavy rain; fail. Wouldn't sink in with a 12x12 tamper, lawn roller, or even a vehicle on a single square. Waited until a 2" rain this week (in January) and had much better luck. Still had to use the tamper to smash down certain portions, but it went down.I can tell already that it needs grass to really remain stable/at the top...I have an area without grass where a trailer had been parked, and it's very muddy already (maybe 1/4" of mud over the pavers). This is expected though, you can't expect a 1" deep plastic grid to stay stable on its own on a sea of gelatinous muck.We'll see how things look after this spring. These things are expensive, but I hate gravel, don't want asphalt (would also be about 10x the price and if I pulled permits the town likely wouldn't approve adding impervious surface). Did I mention the wife approves? That too. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great to do yourself *by M***T on April 4, 2021* I had a garage built this winter and needed to extend the driveway to it. I lowered the Belgium Blocks and instead of laying on the grass, I excavated an area up to 6 inches or so. I really had no choice because of the way the land sloped. I put down a base of bluestone ( was going to use RCA but wanted it permeable) and leveled that 1 1/2 inches below the garage and driveway. It varied in thickness from 2-6 inches. Once level I lay down the grid and filled with more stone. It's as flat as a pool table and extremely firm.
