He does go through the tips though. the soft tips are so comfortable he forgets he has them on. He can hear the TV so much better now. While not disturbing anyoneHe has a habit of wearing them all night, even with the TV off! His room is off the nurses station at his nursing home and it was noisy all night...but with the TV ears on he can have quiet or he can have his TV on as loud as he wants. When you use these "Ears" you don't need the TV speaker on at all if you have the right RCA connections on the TV. Unfortunately he will yank them off his ears or knock them off while in bed so eventually he loses the tips, so I have to replace them occasionally.
