Review: Changed formula - If anyone is curious as to whether or not the product is different with the new packaging change, it is. I’ve been using Camay Natural soap on and off since the late 80s. It used to be made by Proctor & Gamble. For a while it was hard to find in the US, and I’d have to search for it either in close out stores (like Ocean State Job Lot), or International Markets, and in more recent years, online. These new bars are made by Unilever, who acquired Camay around 2015 or so. I do like the new packaging. The soap itself is a little different, in that it’s a little drier and slightly crumbly. The old formula had a creamy, soapy scent unique to Camay Natural (different from the original, or the Chic versions). This new scent reminds me a little of how laundry washing powders smelled in Poland in the late 80s/ early 90s. A clean, zesty, sunny washing powder smell. I do like it, it’s just different from the original Camay Natural scent . I don’t think it smells like bergamot or cedar. She is 80 years old and has been using this soap for years and she looks like she is in her 40's.
