The area is below grade so we wanted to get a product that could stand up to the moisture. We purchased this in March of 2014 because it specifically says that it can be used below grade. On top of that we bought the premium Pergo underlayment to do everything in our control to make sure this product would work in that area. None of that has worked. The product started warping within months of installation. We have already replaced 2 large sections to the tune of over 500 square feet (In May of 2014 and again in November 2014). All of it—the original and the replacement sections—is junk. We have 1100 square feet of Pergo that is buckling and pulling up off the floor. It’s just been a disaster and we have put in over $5,000 in product and labor and at some point we will have to tear it up again and replace it with something else.We did contact Pergo who sent out a tech to look at it. We received word that our request was denied.
