A master of the 8-string guitar, Javier helped us create the affordable, high-quality LTD Signature Series JR-208. It's an 8-string baritone guitar at 27" scale, allowing for a greatly extended range of pitch than a standard guitar. It includes a mahogany body, a bolt-on maple neck, ESP Designed LH-308N and LH-308B pickups, and an LTD fixed bridge with string-thru-body. Controls include volume, tone (with the ability to split pickups to single coil), and a 3-way pickup selector. Available in Pelham Blue finish with gold hardware. The tuning machines are decent, and seem to hold tune fine so far. The pickups are passable, but lack the clarity and note articulation of higher quality pickups. As this is somewhat of a budget guitar, this is expected. I knocked off one star (only 1/2 a star if I could), because the guitar arrived without even the most basic of setups, with dead frets and buzzing across the fingerboard.
