I mounted it on my '13 Mustang and the suction is impressive even with a dashboard full of dimples. This suction cup gel is hi-tech.Update: Changing my review to 3 stars. The device has a pivotal movement. This movement is possible thanks to a ball that has a very thin neck which broke, making it impossible to repair.
