It has a reset button that works without having to flip the clock over, turn it off and back on, the way many other inexpensive game clocks do. Also, a summary of all of the presets is clearly printed on the bottom of the clock… very helpful. A slight caveat: the first clock I ordered functioned, but had an operating defect. The left-side clock activation lever-position (on the top) was slightly balky and would not always turn on the other players clock reliably… it *did* work if a pronounced firm press was consistently done, but a light, soft press would not engage the clock reliably. Since this could be a problem if there was uncertainty about the other player’s clock getting switched on (especially during hurried moves), I submitted a return/exchange request. That went smoothly and two days later I had the replacement which seems to work just as expected. From what I can see, this clock seems to offer the best combination of features-at-a-low-price currently available. Review: Good Value Clock - First, my only criticism: it does not have a preprogrammed setting for one-hour games with a ten-second increment. However, I was able to customize a setting and it worked just fine during the tournament. I tended to gently tap the clock when I had moved. My opponent in one case chose to hit the clock rather smartly. After all, it wasn't his clock. In any case, the clock survived, worked great, was easy to see, and kept good time during multiple games.
