For what it’s worth, we are not using it as a ball pit — we are using it as a play pen. It’s worked well for months. Our kiddo is now seven months old and can pull to stand. So he’s constantly pulling up on the sides and then holding on and wavering around. The other reviewers are right — the sides aren’t super sturdy, they do waver with the weight. But so far I have been impressed with how well it’s held up. Our kiddo is big — he is only seven months old and is already about 31” tall and 22 lbs. We bought a huge gymnastics tumble mat to place under the pen, so that if/when he topples over the sides, he’s got a soft and safe landing. It’s not going to last forever but so far the seams are holding up.
