In terms of smoothness they are the best blades available. One blade last for a minimum of five to six smooth shaves. Best value for money product in long run. This blades are great combination with mild razors like Edwin jagger, merkur & feather TTO. Review: Super sharp and smooth - Shave with cold water splash No pre shave Used Romer 7 Shivira (balanced to medium aggressive close comb) with Gillette Nacet - outstanding combination (for me). Nacet blade is super sharp and gets smoother after the first pass. The sharpness is close to a feather but not as harsh. I did not find it piercing as Gillette black does for me (which I am not too fond of). In fact, Nacet seems to be a matured version of Gillette 365 or Gillette thin which are also thin blades (similar to Nacet). Considering how well Shivira clasps a blade, it was charming to see the blade bend so much post the shave. I find both Gillette 365 and Gillette thin durable blades. The descriptions for both say the same thing.** A: No they are not the same, there was a typo in the listing and it was corrected. Platinum blades are hard to get these days because they're slightly sharper than the stainless blades. **Q: Are these packed in white wrapper or are there letters on the wrapper saying gillette nacets?** A: The wrappers are white and printed "Gillette Nacet Stainless". Their are also very smooth and forgiving. Shave extremely close and last several shaves. I have an extremely coarse beard which is perfect for me. But I am experienced shaver so perform perfect for me. There very close to being sharp a feather blade. If you new to shaving or has a very mild safety that should very well.
