I have plenty of experience installing screens so I had no issue with the install (it can be a bit tricky with a couple steps of the install process.) I advise caution with trying to install a screen or other small devise repairs for someone with limited patience. :) it takes steady, patient hands and mind! Don’t forget to restart the phone after any parts install! You might need to connect to iTunes on a computer to complete the reboot. And you will lose features that the original screen was capable of. This is true of any replacement screen. Original and aftermarket iPhone parts cannot be made to work like the original parts unless someone can program them to communicate with the device. Thanks for another great product! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ All good so far *by A***R on November 3, 2020* Just got done installing this screen on my XR. So far, so good. I opened the Notes app and scribbled all over the screen to make sure touch was registering correctly, which is was. No dead pixels that I can see, and colors/brightness appear same as OEM.I think some folks having issues may be damaging the very tiny and delicate connectors. Be very careful and don't force anything. Follow a good guide like iFixit'sBefore applying the new gasket, remove the old one completely with tweezers and spudger tool. My screen sits flush, as the OEM screen did.My only complaint about this kit is that the suction cup wasn't strong enough to lift the OEM screen. I did use a hair dryer to soften the adhesive. I ended up having to use a razor blade to cut a groove in the screen plastic, and then got a jewelers flathead in there to pry it up. The included screwdrivers are good quality, and I'm glad they included the black spudger, which some kits don't include (the blue ones are not very useful). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works just as well as the more expensive models *by D***N on July 6, 2022* This is the second time I've replaced my wife's iphone screen in the past year (almost exactly to the day) because she drops her phone a lot. Last year I ordered an ifixit screen to ensure it was closer to 'genuine' and also because I was uncertain about all the steps/modules to replace. This time I ordered the Ace Tech version because it was half the price and I already knew what to expect during the screen replacement. Replacement was just as easy as the more expensive screens (nice toolkit in both) but I ended up following the ifixit replacement guide because it was easier (and I had done it before).
