A: It has been long enough that I don't recall. If you need a different size you can easily use reducers etc to create a perfect fit. Good luck with your repair.

Replacement for the failed original valve on my Marathon water heater. Luckily, we discovered the original valve failing before it had a chance to flood our house. Looks like the vacuum relief valve should be replaced every 5-7 years. Nowhere does the owner's manual say this.
