I checked volumes against known standards and the cylinders are nicely accurate. You need to have just the right lighting to be able to read the graduations, there is almost ZERO contrast value between the wall of the cylinders/beakers and the raised graduations and numbers. Most of my measuring lab ware has been glass, I think there is a slight difference in meniscus sizes between glass and plastic, with the plastic having a smaller meniscus.
