I absolutely love it. Clear, concise, self-explanatory, east to read—it hits all of those. Hydroponics is a method of sustainable living used by many who live in off-grid housing. It allows the homeowner to not only grow their own food but also to sell any extra, allowing them to earn a living as well. But although not necessarily hard to do, it can be involved. The Kratky Method is believed by the author to be the best for beginners due it its relatively low maintenance and ease of use. Plus you can grow lettuce, strawberries, cucumbers as well as peace lilies and philodendron to name a few of the items that you can grow hydroponically. This book tells you how to do that by giving you pH balance levels. It also tells you how to start growing each of the items he lists that are best grown with the Kratky Method. And the author tells you to do your own research as well because you need to account for what amount and how big you want to grow your food.
