Nice addition to our kitchen. Having the day available for my husband and I (were retired) is really handy. I've seen day clocks and they just advertise that most days we're clueless about what day it is. This one gives us the time and we can always sneak a peek and see what the day is and don't have to feel stupid, if asked. It's not that we're senile; it's just that most days we just don't care. Now, before we leave the house, we can double checked to see what day it is. I finally bought one and, although it is great for the time of day, it's a bit difficult to read the time. The numbers are in a darker gray than it shows on the amazon photo so you really have to rely on the hand position to tell the time. The thing also is a loud ticker so, if you're going to put it in a bedroom, you won't be happy.
