In the summer, it gets too hot to blow dry my very curly hair, but usually it just goes to frizz. I bought this because it was Wella and I needed my hair to look good. I wasn't remotely disappointed. I got compliments on how pretty my hair looked (much appreciated at my age). My hair didn't feel remotely sticky or crunchy, just lovely soft, shiny curls.
